If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I’ve been building up my rolodex of sauce recipes for about 6 months now. And it’s finally time to share them all in one place!
Why Use Sauces in Your Meal Prep?
Sauces are the spice of meal prep! Okay, actual spices are also the spice of meal prep…but sauces are the real hero when it comes to keeping your meal prep crave-worthy even after a few days in the fridge. Not only are they a great way to elevate the flavor of your dish, they’re also great at masking proteins or veggies that are a little dried out (but don’t forget to brine your chicken to keep it juicy!).
Sauces can also add variety to your meal prep that you might otherwise get bored with. Worried that you won’t want to eat those chicken and veggies for lunch a few days in a row? Whip up a couple different sauces and alternate your flavor palette each day. Even if you don’t want to make your own, there are so many good sauces in the condiments aisle, you’ll never be bored.
Perfect Pairings
Grilled meats, roasted squash, air fried veggies, or any number of proteins and sides are amazing to pair up with your favorite sauce! Here are a few ideas:
