It’s Cocktail Friday! And today we’re celebrating citrus and the simple things in life with these easy 3-ingredient Palomas cocktail! I make two different versions of this drink – one made for a crowd (coming soon) and one that can be made ultra fast. Like for those occasions when friends pop by for a quick visit. With just 3 ingredients, this is the kind of drink you can make on the fly with no planning. I like to keep some mixers on hand and almost always have a lime or two sitting in my fruit bowl.
So here’s the deal: all you need is grapefruit soda, lime juice, and tequila! As for the grapefruit soda, there are lots of brands on the market. The best I’ve tried in a Paloma is Jarritos…probably because it’s Mexican and it pairs perfectly with tequila š But if you can’t find the grapefruit version of Jarritos (it can be elusive, even in San Antonio), there are plenty of Italian grapefruit sodas out there. They’ll work just fine, but they don’t have quite the same zing!
Enough rambling from me…cheers to the weekend!
