Happy Cocktail Friday! It’s been a while since I’ve done one and I’m calling it “The Floor is Guava.” This guava focused cocktail is easy to make at home and ripe for tiki flare! Grenadine lends a bit of balancing sweetness against the tart guava juice, plus a lava red color fitting for the name. I had to throw some fire into the mix too – I just hollowed out a half a lime, added a sugar cube, then poured some 151 proof rum over it. Light on fire (carefully), sprinkle with some cinnamon, and boom! Gorgeous flaming cocktail!
Now, that said, I don’t recommend trying to blow out the fire so you can stick your face in there and drink. Just let the rum burn off or else you risk blowing flames across the room. Also this will definitely make your house smell like a tiki bar 😉 I really liked the smell but it may not be your thing, so you can opt for doing the special effects outdoors.
