Cranberry Orange Reindeer

Put a holiday twist on your average Moscow Mule with this Cranberry Orange Reindeer! Instead of lime juice, we’re opting for tart cranberry juice and sweet orange juice – a match made in holiday heaven. Finish the cocktail off with vodka and ginger beer, and you’ve got a drink that couldn’t be easier. Garnish it with a fresh rosemary sprig, skewered fresh cranberries, and a slice of orange to really bring the cheer to happy hour!

Vodka

It’s a flavor neutral spirit, so just about any vodka will work here. I personally prefer Tito’s, Finlandia, Reyka, or Ketel One. IMO, “top shelf” brands like Grey Goose and Belvedere aren’t worth the price tag.

Ingredients and Substitutions

Here’s what you’ll need to recreate this Cranberry Orange Reindeer at home:

  • Vodka – You could always use gin if you prefer more flavor, but I actually like vodka for this recipe so the cranberry and orange flavors can shine through.
  • Cranberry juice – Real cranberry juice or cranberry cocktail will work just fine.
  • Orange juice – Definitely opt for the pulp free variety for this recipe so you don’t end up with chunks!
  • Ginger beer – I really enjoy Fever Tree’s ginger beer, but whatever one you like best is perfect.

Give your Moscow Mule a holiday makeover with cranberry and orange juice. This Cranberry Orange Reindeer cocktail couldn't be easier!

Ingredients

  • 3 fl oz Fever Tree Refreshingly Light ginger beer
  • 2 fl oz vodka
  • 1 1/2 fl oz cranberry juice
  • 1 fl oz orange juice

Instructions

  • Add vodka, cranberry juice, and orange juice to a copper mug. Top with ice and stir, then top with ginger beer. Garnish with orange slice, rosemary sprig, and fresh cranberries before serving.
