Happy Hump Day! This week’s Wednesday recipe (not really a thing, but I’ve been posting a lot of new recipes on Wednesdays lately) is this insanely gorgeous, creamy, and delicious Mango Coconut Collagen Smoothie. It’s a perfect dairy free summer treat to help you beat the heat.

Have you tried collagen before? It’s a powdered supplement that can help you boost your protein intake without adding any dairy. It also boasts plenty of health benefits, some of which are backed by science, some not so much – do your research! I’ve tried two brands – Sports Research and Vital Proteins. I definitely prefer Sports Research because it dissolves much more smoothly into liquids. I found the Vital Proteins to be a bit grainy/gritty.

Oh and how about this flavor combo of mango and coconut?! If you had to skip your tropical vacay this year, maybe this will help transport you to that little island sipping frozen drinks with the freshest fruit…ahhhhhh relaxation 🙂

Cheers!
