It’s Friday, which pretty much means that it’s 5 o’clock wherever you are…as soon as you get off work for the week! Celebrate the beginning of the weekend with a light and refreshing cocktail like this Pomegranate Gin Fizz. It’s a seriously easy drink to make but tastes like something you’d get at a classy cocktail joint.
I never used to be a huge fan of gin because I thought it was too bitter, but turns out I was just drinking it with the wrong mixers. The slightly floral complexity it brings to a drink makes for some great flavor combo possibilities without being overly sweet.
I just used pomegranate juice in a bottle for this drink since they’re pretty much out of season by now. I like to think this is a nice spring / Easter drink though 😉

Nutrition Information
For my macro trackers out there, I wasn’t able to create a My Fitness Pal barcode for this recipe since I would have had to decide for you whether to put the alcohol calories in as carbs or fats – that’s up to you! The 6 carbs listed here are just for the pomegranate juice and lime juice. For my non-macro trackers, here’s more info on what I’m talking about.
