It’s a gin forward drink, complemented nicely by lemon juice, sweetened up with a little simple syrup, and kissed with just a hint of raspberry flavor thanks to the jam. The jam is an ingenious cocktail hack, to be honest. Definitely worth shaking one up this weekend!
Gin & Jam
- 4 oz gin (I like St. George's Botanivore or The Botanist)
- 2 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz simple syrup, generous
- 1 tbsp raspberry jam (20 grams)
Add all ingredients to a shaker with a handful of ice cubes. Shake vigorously for 5-10 seconds, then strain into a serving glass over ice.
