OMG you guys. If you like oatmeal, you need to get the ingredients for these Banana Pecan Pie Protein Oats ASAP. I used some Legendary Foods Pecan Pie Almond Butter in them and it made for the most decadent and delicious oats I’ve had in probably forever. Check out my Instagram later this morning for a chance to win some for yourself! I’ll be posting a full review of 3 of their nut butter flavors here tomorrow, so check back to see why you should grab some too 🙂
I love overnight oats, but there’s just something about making them fresh in the morning that feels so cozy. Not that these take long to make at all, but that texture fresh out of the microwave is just right. The banana is a great way to get some fruit in while helping you charge up for the day. And at 33 grams of protein per serving, this oatmeal will fuel you for hours and keep the hangry away!
Now, I’m not normally a huge fan of almond butter (because peanut butter is life, duh), but Legendary Foods does an awesome job with it. This Pecan Pie flavor in particular has nice chunks of pecans in there and a to-die-for taste that really does remind me of pecan pie.
