Wahoooo protein smoothies! So first off, let me just say that this was not originally supposed to be a princess smoothie (I was going for red, white, and blue but failed). But when I looked at the jar after building it, I didn’t see any way that it could be anything other than a princess smoothie. So here it is! I even included a kid-friendly version of the recipe in case they get jealous of your creation 😉
I don’t know what it is about this summer that’s got me on a smoothie kick (and a cheesecake kick!)…might have something to do with the Texas heat.
I now keep a stash of these frozen Greek yogurt cubes in my freezer for whenever I feel like whipping up one of these protein shakes! Plus I always have a bag each of frozen strawberries and frozen blueberries, so this shake was a no-brainer!
Don’t forget the cute straws and sparkly sprinkles!

Okay, so I’m also including my first-ever specifically “kid-friendly” recipe here too…because I’m guessing the kiddos are going to feel like they’re missing out if they see a parent drinking this gorgeous smoothie 🙂 That being said, I’m not a parent and I don’t pretend to know what you want your kids to eat. This is just another option that doesn’t include the protein powder but will get to almost the same consistency.
