It’s almost Cinco de Mayo! Grab your sombreros and tequila, we’re about to have a margarita party 😉 I love a classic margarita, but it’s fun to branch out and get creative. So I decided that pineapple was the right way to get the party started – it’s sweet but not overpowering and pairs really well with tequila and lime.
I did a lime salt rim on these glasses. All you need to do is zest some lime into a bunch of salt, mix it up, and dip your wet glass rim into it. But I seriously hate salt on my margaritas, so I was sure to wipe it off before drinking up. Now that you know my margarita style…
You can easily turn this recipe into a pitcher of margaritas using the little slider feature in the recipe card. Just click on the number where it says “2 servings” and slide the thingy over to however big your pitcher is. So one of these drinks is 6 oz each…if you have a 60 oz pitcher, slide it on over to 10 servings and it’ll show you the updated ingredient measurements! Bada bing, bada boom, margaritas for friends.

For my macro trackers out there, I wasn’t able to create a My Fitness Pal barcode for this recipe since I would have had to decide for you whether to put the alcohol calories in as carbs or fats – that’s up to you! The 16 carbs listed here are just for the juices and sugar that’s added to the booze. For my non-macro trackers, here’s more info on what I’m talking about.
