Peppermint and coffee are a match made in hot chocolate heaven with this creamy and dreamy recipe.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups whole milk (48 fl oz)
  • 6 cups bold roast or strong brewed coffee (48 fl oz)
  • 2 cups heavy cream (16 fl oz)
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 4 oz bars Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Bar, chopped (12 oz total)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tbsp peppermint extract

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and set to low for 2 hours (or 1 hour on high), stirring frequently to ensure the chocolate melts evenly and to prevent burning.

Notes

Chocolate: If you want to use chocolate chips instead of chopping up a chocolate bar, I recommend using a 12 oz bag of Hershey's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips.
