Lavender Lady

Lavender simple syrup is paired with gin, Cointreau, lemon juice, & egg white for a bright, refreshing spring cocktail. Perfect for brunch!

Ingredients

  • 2 fl oz gin
  • 3/4 fl oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 fl oz Cointreau
  • 1/2 fl oz Lavender Simple Syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Optional: violet food coloring

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Dry shake (without ice) for 5-10 seconds. Add ice and shake for another 10-12 seconds. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Notes

I used a tiny bit of violet gel food coloring (about the size of the lead on a regular sharpened pencil tip) to attain the color you see here. You could use 2-3 drops of liquid food coloring instead, or skip it altogether.
